Your Privacy Rights in California. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits residents of California who have provided their personal information (as defined in the statute) to us or any third party partners to request certain information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for the purposes of direct marketing. Any such request should be submitted via email to Privacy@ConvertAdvertising.com and should include “CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS” in the email’s subject line. We will also need your first name, last name, mailing address, and preferred email address in order to process your request. Within thirty (30) days of receiving such as request, we will provide a list of the categories of personal information, if any, that has been disclosed in the immediately preceding year to third parties for the purposes of direct marketing along with the names and addresses of those third parties. Please be aware that only a certain subset of information sharing is covered by Section 1798.83 and that our response will only include information on sharing covered by the statute. You may make this request no more than once per calendar year.
Personally-Identifying Information That We Collect
Personally-identifying information (‘Personal Information”) is any information that we collect that can be used to uniquely identify you. We only collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to the Company. Personal Information we collect may fit into one of more of the following categories: educational, employment, or employer. Employment Personal Information that we collect may include, but is not limited to, the following: your first name, last name, mailing address, telephone number, preferred email address, graduation year from high school, age, educational history, military affiliation, and desired area(s) of study. Employment Personal Information that we collect may include, but is not limited to, the following: your first name, last name, mailing address, telephone number, preferred email address, resume, age, gender, highest level of education completed, history of employment, current salary, language proficiencies, job skills, criminal history, military affiliation, driving record, scheduling availability and preferences, and professional licenses, certifications, and other qualifications. Employer Personal Information that we collect may include, but is not limited to, the following: your first name, last name, mailing address, telephone, and preferred email address.
The Company may also get Personal Information from third party associates that we contract with to advertise on behalf of the Company and our clients (“Affiliate” or “Affiliates”) that you have voluntarily provided to an Affiliate and or regarding a request for information about one of our Affiliates or otherwise request our services. Company may also collect data from our customers or other third parties to help us understand online activity and improve our services. If you communicate with us via email, we may record the email address your message was sent with. Additionally, any telephone calls to and from the Company may be monitored and recorded for the purposes of training and quality assurance.
Non-Personally-Identifying Information That We Collect
Non-Personally-Identifying Information (“Aggregate Information”) is any information that, without any additional information, cannot be directly associated with you. Like the majority of website operators, we collect Aggregate Information based on your online activities such as referring / exit pages and URLs, computer settings, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other information generated through the use of the below described herein. If you have voluntarily disclosed any Personal Information to the Company or its Affiliates, some or all of the Aggregate Information we collect on you may be associated with your Personal Information.
The methods we use to collect Aggregate Information may include:
Pixel Tags. The Company and our third party associates use pixel tags. Pixel tags, also known as clear gifs or web beacons, are tiny images with unique identifiers that function similarly to cookies and allow us to monitor your use of the Website and to deliver advertisements that are most relevant to you as your browse the internet. Pixel tags are typically used in conjunction with cookies to determine when a specific computer visits a particular page. You cannot disable pixel tags; however, if you choose to turn off cookies, as described above, the pixel tag(s) will only detect an anonymous visit. Additionally, we use pixel tags in out HTML-based emails to gather information on which email have been opened by the recipients. Doing so allow us to measure the effectiveness of any given communication and that of our marketing campaigns. If you do not want to receive pixel tags in emails, you may opt-out of receiving these emails from the Company or by changing the type of email you receive to be text only.
Internet Protocol Address. The Company’s servers automatically identify your computer based on its Internet Protocol (IP) address and store that information. An IP address is a numerical identifier that is automatically assigned to your computer by your internet Service Provider. On its own, your IP address cannot be used to identify you by name; however, it may reveal your rough location and the Internet Service Provider you use.
Click-Through URLs. The Company may send you one or more email messages that include click-through URLs linking you to content on the Website. When you click on one of these URLS, you pass through a special part of our server before arriving at your destination webpage. Doing so allows us to collect data to determine your interest in the subject matter of the email, and to measure the effectiveness of our email communications. You can avoid such tracking by simply not clicking on the links or images contained within our emails.
Domain Name Tracking. When you visit the Website, we will automatically collect and record the domain name and URL from which you accessed the Website. Additionally, if you reached out Website through a link from another site, our server will record the fact that you came to us from that linked site. Similarly, we may also record the domain name and URL of the site you visit upon existing the Website.
Use of Information Collected
Opting Out of Email and Text Messages. If you wish to no longer receive promotional messages from us via email or text message, you may opt-out at any time. For email, click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our marketing emails or email us at Unsubscribe@ConvertAdvertising.com. To opt-out of text messages, reply to any promotional text with the message “STOP,” END,” or “QUIT”.

Information We Will Share
